Hi Manfred,

I followed the instructions from the manual and the forum.

I installed PPPTTCF6_0 as a reference in VS and PPPTT6_0Helper.dll as existing item.

On the mobile5 device, I debugged after installing ttn.cab and gave it a second try after installing ttn2003.cab. Both Cabs came with the tomtom SDK and show version number 6.031

Problem : tomtom hangs when a function like NavigateToAddress or Geocode or ShowCoordinatesOnMap is called. When I stop debugging, tomtom is 'released' and shows the result.

How can I avoid 'hanging' tomtom?

PPPTT6_0helper.dll is the gen result of PPPTT6_0Helper_ARM_6_0_3.TTC (or it should be)

I tought this would solve the tomtom 6.03 problem i found in the forums.


What am i doing wrong? How can I solve this?

I am using the SDK version PPPTTCF6.0N2.dll and navigator application is 6.010 with 7720 build

Could you please tell me the exact version of the helper and the component you use.
Simply call "GetInternalVersions" from your app pls.

Also try to call the GetAppVersion from your app.
And ensure \\TomTom\Sdkfilecalls is empty before you start your app.

I have the following results from the api calls made in DotNet application.

-GetSDKVersion()-> build no :207 strVersion:"6.0"

-GetApplicationVersion()-> build no : 7720 and setrversion: "6.010"

-GetInternalVersions()-> returns 1(OK) , and

 nMajor : 6 nMinor : 0  nRelease :1 strBranded : not branded and vPPPTTCFversion : 6.0.0.1

Also, when I put messageBox ,it does not seem to hang..

Hi,

the version seem to be OK.

I guess you have a problem with your app calling SDK functions after starting TTN.

Does your app also hang if you manually start TTN - and than call functions?
