Breaking changes: our new Navigation solution partner is Sygic

From TomTom to Sygic:
Over the years our former navigation provider reduced his SDK more and more to drive his own business solutions.
Finally a SDK is no longer available!
Looking for an alternative solution we found www.sygic.com/tomtom-sdk.
Why we recommend Sygic:
  • Good support at first hand
  • A modern Navigation Solution (with actual maps)
  • Native .NET support in the SDK (no need for third party solutions)
  • Many operating systems support including Linux and Android
  • A partner which is even able to adapt the Navigation solution to your needs.

Cool [H] Two problems with TTNCF6

    Dear TTNCF Support,

I am currently developing a TomTom interface using your toolkit. Work was progressing nicely until recently when I got an error on a message box, i.e.  "Possible illegal copy (use) of DLL. Contact TTNCF@pp-p.net". I am working under the account set up by my colleague - John Armstrong; I am attempting to link TomTom to our mobile application; The initial test was to check if the current location was returned; the next test (where the error occurred) involved navigating to specified coordinates from the current position.
FYI, the second test failed (the map displayed the current position, not a route to the destination from the current position).

Please can you help (on both errors)?

Please note that we are developing against TomTom version 6.010 and PPPTTCF version is 6.0.0.1.

    RSVP.

    Kind regards.

    Gene David

    Re: Two problems with TTNCF6

    Hi David,

the first problem arrives, when you generate the helper DLL (via TTNCFGen) with a "lock".

This means that you (or someone else) generated the helper and said it is locked for a specific application. Simply generate a new helper DLL to fix this.

This (the lock code) could be the possible cause for the second problem.

    Regards

    Manfred
