Breaking changes: our new Navigation solution partner is Sygic

From TomTom to Sygic:
Over the years our former navigation provider reduced his SDK more and more to drive his own business solutions.
Finally a SDK is no longer available!
Looking for an alternative solution we found www.sygic.com/tomtom-sdk.
Why we recommend Sygic:
  • Good support at first hand
  • A modern Navigation Solution (with actual maps)
  • Native .NET support in the SDK (no need for third party solutions)
  • Many operating systems support including Linux and Android
  • A partner which is even able to adapt the Navigation solution to your needs.

    Star [*] TTNCF5 V 5.2 availability

    Hi,

    the first step is done.

Existing subscribers can access TTNCF5 Version 5.2 via TTNCFGen downloads.

There are 6 Files in this update.

    1. PPPTT5_2Helper_ARM_DLL_5_21_1.TTC
The helper for the use with the SDK dll
    2. PPPTT5_2Helper_ARM_5_21_1.TTC
The linked helper (no need for SDK dll - we recomend this one)
    3. PPPTTCF5_2.dll
      The .NET CR 1.0 component
    4. PPPTTCF5_2N2.dll
      The .NET CR 2.0 component
    5. CFwrapper5_2,pdf
      Documentation
To ensure that TTNCFGen shows the right documentation delete CFWrapper5_x.pdf from your directories.
    6. TestTTN5_2.zip
This zip conatains the new samples for TTNCF5 V 5.2.
It is divided in two sections - VS2003 and VS2005 both conatining TestTTN.
VS2005 also contains TestTTN2 - and enhanced version of TestTTN for .NET 2.0.
To run TestTTN2 a componnent "PPPNMEALight.dll" is included.

If you have any problems with this download pleas reply to this post.

    Regards - and happy codeing

    Re: TTNCF5 V 5.2 availability

    Hi,

I have tried to use the TTNCFGen to download the latest files for TTNCF5 Version 5.2 only to get the following error message when clicking 'Get File List':

    'Could not connect to TTNCFCN'

The TTNCFGen tool has previously worked fine and allowed me to get updates for version 5.1

Is there anyother way of downloading the new version as it is rather urgent.

    Thanks

    Sasha

    AW: Re: TTNCF5 V 5.2 availability

    Hi Sasha,

sorry but I can't find your username at TTNCFCN (http://ttncf.pp-p.net).

It seems that you created an extra forums account instead of using the account from the customer network.
So could you please tell me your account from the customer network to check your problems?

PLEASE do NOT post any Ordernumbers here - just your account from the customer network!!!

    Regards

    Manfred

    Hi Sahsa,

it is a good idea to work (on both sites) with the same account - but anyhow....

For me your accout looks OK - so you should get a connection to the Downloadservice.

The error you describe normaly occures when a firewall blocks the program.
I'll contact you by mail to check out a few further steps.

Since we'v got a lot of download activity this weekend it looks as if there is no problem in general.

    Regards

    Manfred
