Breaking changes: our new Navigation solution partner is Sygic

From TomTom to Sygic:
Over the years our former navigation provider reduced his SDK more and more to drive his own business solutions.
Finally a SDK is no longer available!
Looking for an alternative solution we found www.sygic.com/tomtom-sdk.
Why we recommend Sygic:
  • Good support at first hand
  • A modern Navigation Solution (with actual maps)
  • Native .NET support in the SDK (no need for third party solutions)
  • Many operating systems support including Linux and Android
  • A partner which is even able to adapt the Navigation solution to your needs.

Embarrassed [:$] Re: Is TT good ?

    Hi Manni,
    have you any news?
I have no solution from TT for the SwitchMap problem until now ...
    Must we wait until Q2 2006 ?
    (or use the old version)

    Greetings
    Howi

AW: Re: Is TT good ?

    Hi Howie,

TT keeps telling that this function is used only by a few customers.
They will (maybe) do something before the Q2 Release - but it is not sure.

    Regards

    AW: New TT Version ! 5210 5431 !

    Hi Howi,

    I didn't hear about this!

I think you mean the navigator was updated.

Do have closer information (Version numbers and so on)?

All I can see is the "December update 5.2xx" on their site.
If you tell me a little more details I could ask for information!

    Greetings

    Manfred

AW: Re: AW: New TT Version ! 5210 5431 !

    Hi Howi,

    I got the answer:
This is not an update for the SDK. Please use the application files included in the SDK and not from any other release.

    Regards

    Re: Q2/06 And now?

    Hi Howi,

there will be no new TTN 5 SDK I think!

SDK 6 is under developement and will hopefully fix the bug!
    The schedule is Q3.

    Regards

    Manfred
