I was not asking to use the "SimpleClient" application - I asked you to use TestTTN.
This is the .NET app shipped with TTNCF3.

Anyhow - could you please zip the application directory on your device and send it per mail to: TTNCF@pp-p.com

Hi Manfred,

The error message is "MissingMethodException". I can´t execute the "SimpleClient" application, I haven´t the appropriate tools. But I try the "GetSDKVersion" in my application and it not work. The error message is the same, "MissingMethodException".

could you bee a bit more precise about "not works"?

I would like you to use TestTTN and call the functions:

GetSDKVersion -- this does not access the Navigator and should run anyhow.
And next call GetApplicationVersion - which could fail.

Please tell me the error message (if "not works") you got at the test.

Hi Manfred,

I tried it and it not works. in my project of VB.NET I have the "PPPTTCF.dll" in the references and the "PPPTTHelper.dll" and "TTNCom.dll" (version 3) added like files. I try to replace the "TTNCom.dll" with the new version but does not works. I have installed the TTN5 in a SD Card.
I´m using the functions "PPPTTCF.TTN.ShowCoordinateOnMap" and "PPPTTCF.TTN.BringNavigatorToForeground". I´ve seen that could be used with the TTNCF3 and SDK5, isn´t it?

Hi dlago,

in the SDK 5 under the libs path you will find a TTNCom.dll.

This is (somewhere deep in the SDK documentation noted) the "compatiblity" dll.
Such DLLs are imaginable as things with two ends.
One end is your app (SDK calls) and the other is the navigator.
This DLL is SDK 3 on the frontend - and on the backend it talks to Navitator 5.

Take care - only the functions provided in SDK 5 are available with this dll.

This means - you can call everthing - for an example Itinerary functions which are not available in SDK 5.
The result of such call is not documented!!!

To use it - simply replace the TTNCom.dll in your project with the one from SDK 5.

I have the TTNCF3 and the TT SDK5 with the TT5. In the web

it say that TTNCF3 "Works with TomTom Navigator 5.0" but I dont know how...
It is possible? How?
